This site is a showcase of my wargames miniatures and how I painted them. I feel the primary purpose of painting wargames figures is for them to stand out on the gaming table. I have painted my figures with this in mind.
Realisticly, all soldiers of all eras would look a smudged brownish, greenish, greyish mass. Which can get quite boring if all armies are painted like that. Small scale figures should be painted dramatically and exaggerated.
Articles have been seperated by periods and scale. Step by Step articles shows the process that I took to paint various models.
I hope you like what you see here and will find the tips helpful. Enjoy.
