Dark Elf Characters

Almost my whole Dark Elf army is from the Warhammer 6th edition collection. The miniatures are the most striking I've seen in a long time, a far cry from the older range.

Dark Elf characters are expensive. They hit hard, but cannot take much damage. Speed is the element.

Highborns

I converted the Beastmaster figure on the Manticore to resemble a Highborn. Adding a shield and replacing his weapon with a lance.

Malus Darkblade just made a great Highborn or Noble on a Cold One.

High Sorceress and Noble

Dark Pegasus are great mounts for Dark Elf characters. They are not expensive, and pack a punch when they charge. A single Noble on a Dark Pegasus probably does not make much of an impact, but pair them up and they can take on light units.

I use the new Morathi figure as either a High Sorceress or a Noble.

Characters on foot

I have seldom used these figures on foot, because I depend on the speed of the Dark Elf army. I do not think I have ever used the Assassin or the Battle Standard Bearer figure. Although I have frequently used the old Morathi figure as a Sorceress.

I converted the Lilith Hesperax figure by simply cutting off a few wires on her weapon. She looks suitable as a Noble on foot or even a Sorceress if need be.
