British Infantry
I decided to paint up a platoon of British infantry as an opposition force to my larger German forces. I used AB Figures because I regard them to be the best 20mm WW2 figures available. The level of detail in the sculpt makes them a joy to paint up.
Late war British infantry, advancing. The infantry packs come with one or two Bren guns, and one or two leaders carrying Sten guns. The rest are armed with Lee Enfield rifles.
Late war British infantry, marching. I use sabot bases for the Section I.C. and the Section 2 I.C. So that I can use the figures in games that are designed for individually based figures.
Late war British infantry, urban assault. I added the bricks and some ruins onto the bases of these guys because some of them come moulded with bits of ruined wall. The bricks either come from Fujimi terrain packs, or are chopped up bits of balsa wood.
Platoon commander and his staff. I picked out two running figures to use as, you guessed it, runners. A P.I.A.T. team and a 2" Mortar team is included too.
Support weapons. A Vickers machine gun, a 3" Mortar, and a P.I.A.T team.
