15mm Fantasy
I have expanded my Greek Hoplite army with some fantasy elements.
Centaurs
Unarmoured skirmishing Centaurs from Chariot Miniatures.
Armoured heavy Centaurs, armed with either bows or javelins and shield. I have painted them with dark skin to match the darker horse bodies.
Chimera and Manticore
My Chimera figure is converted from the Alternative Armies based on a classical interpretation of the monster.
I had to reconstruct the face of the Lion head with green stuff, it was quite hideous previously. Holes on the mane to fit the extra heads and wings are filled out. The Serpent tail is a snake from the Games Workshop Lizardmen range.
The Manticore is also a wingless classical interpretation and is from Pendragon, sculpted by Sandra Garrity.
Coming soon...
Next on the painting schedule are Minotaurs. I know there is only one Minotaur, but it is more fun to have a unit of them. A mixture of 10mm Pendraken and 15mm Chariot Miniatures.
Flying horses by Chariot Miniatures. And hopefully a Reaper Medusa and a Grim Reaper Cyclops.
